Investigation of Weeds in Aloe barbadensis Mill

Abstract

Investigated sorts of weeds by the last weed evaluation system in the most appropriate planting area in Yuanjiang county during 2007 to 2009, for making a weed control measure in Aloe barbadensis Mill field. The results shows: Sixty-four species of common weeds belonging to 14 families were found in the Aloe barbadensis Mill vera filed through.The main weeds are Cyperus rotundus L., Cyperus duclouxii E-G.Camus, Alopecurus aequalis Sobol., Bromus inermis Leyss which seasonality occurred with field irrigation. And Cyperus rotundus L, Cyperus duclouxii E-G.Camus, Alopecurus aequalis Sobol, Panicum miliaceum L.var.ruderole kitag, Bromus inermis Leyss, Polypogon fugax Nees ex Steud heavily occurred during May to October. It provide scientific basis for pesticide weeding in Aloe barbadensis Mill vera filed.
