This paper firstly analyzes the necessity of the research about characteristics of the rural residents’ consumption based on city region in Jilin Province, and then it uses the spatial econometric model to analyze the panel data about 9 cities from 1986 to 2012 years in Jilin provinces, and draws a conclusion that the rural residents’ consumption appears the phenomenon of the spatial concentration in different cities, and has spatial correlation in 9 country sides, Based on this foundation, the government should consider the mechanism of the spatial function guided by consumption, when it puts forward to the strategy about promoting and developing the standard of rural resident s’ consumption in Jilin Province.
