Application of Eupatorium adenophorum in the Production of Armillaria mellea

Abstract

In order to study whether Eupatorium adenophorum could be applied in the production of Armillaria mellea and explore the efficient and reasonable way to control E. adenophorum, Alnus cremastogyne Burk and Fagus sylvatica were used as control nutrition mediums, to study the growth condition of A. mellea in E. adenophorum medium. The results showed that A.mellea could germinate and grow normally in E. adenophorum medium, rhizomorph grew fast with many branches and high vitality, but the rhizomorph was slimsy. A. mellea could grow in E. adenophorum medium, and there was no significant difference in growth rate between E. adenophorum medium and F. sylvatica medium.
