In order to learn the difference of blood Physiology and Biochemistry Indexes of different breed, 10-head adult cows of Brahman and Short horn on the same area and similar management condition were chosen to detect and compare 35 Blood Physiology and Biochemistry Indexes by Automatic analyzer and Kit. The results showed that: They have 10 indexes, such as WBC, RBC, PLT, STB, TBA, IBIL, ALT, AST:ALT, GGT and BUN were significant differences between two breed (P<0.01), and 5 indexes, such as HGB, GHB, ALP, GLU and URIC were obvious differences between two breed (P<0.05); the rest indexes were no obvious differences between two breed; blood physiology biochemical indexes’ coefficient of variance of Brahman were lower than Short Horn. Based on the detection, range and coefficient of variance of blood Physiology and Biochemistry Indexes, the ability of crude feed tolerance, stress resistance and adaptability of Brahman were better than Short Horn under the same management condition.
