Form Transformation of Added Arsenic in Three Types of Soils and Distribution in the Tobacco

Abstract

In order to research the speciation transformation of added arsenic and the influence on the adsorption of arsenic by the tobacco in different types of soils, using the method combined pot experiment with chemical analysis to research the speciation transformation and distribution characteristics of added arsenic, and the distribution of the added arsenic in tobacco in red soil, purple soil and paddy soil. The results show, there are significant differences in the adsorption of tobacco to the arsenic in different types of soils, to indicate the differences of the soil have great influence on the utilization of the tobacco to arsenic enriched. Among the results, all the arsenic adsorption is the highest to each parts of the tobacco in red soil , it’s the lowest in purple soil. Further to say, arsenic had higher activity in the red soil. The trend of arsenic’s distribution in the tobacco is root > lower leaves > middle leaves lower leaves > stems. After added arsenic stayed in different types of soil, the residual fraction is the main combined form, the difference of the proportion of the absorbing state of plant is less, the proportion of the exchangeability is the highest in red soil, it’s the lowest in purple soil, but the proportion of the carbonate-bound is the highest in purple soil. Each form distribution is basically stable in 15 days, the other form will partly shift to the absorbing state with the time accumulation.
