This research is composed of field studies and questionnaire analysis, and focuses on both the development of vegetable industry and the management of vegetable price in Xinjiang. Based on the analysis of market situation and price fluctuation from the point of production and supply, the research discusses the difficulties and challenges faced by the vegetable price management, and put forward suggestions for the development of vegetable industry as establishing key vegetable production bases and making their leading role in regional vegetable self-supply, promoting greenhouse vegetable production and ensuring an year-round supply, enhancing the brand establishment and the competitiveness of the local vegetable industry, and forming a modern market and logistic system.
