Abstract Four major types of seven kinds of typical planting patterns,including grain-vegetables, vegetables-vegetables, grain-grain, grain-fruit have a comparative study for economic benefits in Jiaodong area.The results show that: the best value is vegetable cropping patterns, grain-vegetables type, grains-fruits types of efficiency second, and grain-grain type is the least effective for seven kinds of planting patterns.Vote than watching from investment capacity, grain-grain type is the smallest and the remaining types are more than 1.44. On this basis, we explore existing problems and the main reasons impacting planting changes of Laiyang and and put forward development proposals for farming.
