Researches on source and Evaluation of Powdery Mildew Resistance Genes in Wheat
Powdery mildew is one of the most serious diseases of common wheat world-wide．The use of resistant cultivars is the most economical，efficient way to control this disease．Up to now，41 gene loci(Pml-Pm43)for resistance to powdery mildew have been identified and located on different chromosomes．This paper summarizes the last progress on gene source and Evaluation of powdery mildew resistance genes in wheat．This study provides a reference for molecular breeding for resistance to powdery mildew in wheat．
