Abstract: Excel worksheet and Origin 7.0 and DPS statistical analysis software were applied to analyze the relationship between attenuation characteristics of leaf stay-green after flowering and yield traits in maize. The results indicated that the effects of the maximum reducing rate of leaf stay-green(Vmax) 、the time of the maximum reducing rate(TVmax) on yield traits were more effective than that of the day that plant began to senescence（Ts）. The later TVmax occurred, the lower Vmax showed. The higher single ear weight, 100 kernel weight, ear kernel number, Kernel Density and kernel rate were obtained easily.
