The natural environmental condition is extremely frail in the western china. With the development of economy, the deterioration of eco environment and economic sustainable development may be very anxious for us. This paper has analyzed the flaw of ecological compensation mechanism in the west, proposed the consummation the western area ecological compensation mechanism is the important method of realized the economical and the ecology coordinated development and is also the key of realized the sustainable development in the western china.
