The paper analyzed various view points on “scholarization” in the editorial field, suggested that it would be favourable to develop the editorial theory with the discussion of editorial scholarization, improving the editor’s academic average and edit capabilities, and “ editorial scholarization” should be put into practice for the editor of scientific and technological periodical. Moreover, as an editor of scientific and technological periodical, he should be a scholar on his subject and has correspondent academic and scientific research capabilities and perspicacity, good editorial techniques and wide knowledge. The editor should study a higher degree, take part in scientific research and the edit, computer and network learning and so on, realize “editorial scholarization” of scientific and technological periodical.
