Giant panda is one of the species that is in severe danger, whose protection gets the earthling attention, thus the researches of staple food bamboo for giant panda become the chiefly task to protect this rarity animal. The advances of staple food bamboo on its resource; the characteristics of bioecology; the features of physiology and biochemistry and rejuvenation are discussed in this paper. In the end, some advices of the research of giant panda’ staple food bamboo are supposed.
