Abstract

New maize hybrid Shaandan 8813 was accomplished using self-selection inbred line L102 as female parent and foreign inbred line 138 as male parent. The breeding work was finished by It was registered in 2003 by the crop variety registered commission of Shaanxi province. There are many good characters such as high yield, resistance disease, good quality, better adaptability ect. The period of growth and development are 115~120 days by spring plant and 100~105 days by summer plant. The fit plant areas of Shaandan 8813 are Shaanxi province and the same kind areas.
