Field experiment has been carried out to study the effect of different rate of fertilizer nitrogen and microbial inoculation on growth and nitrate content of celery. Results showed that whether microbial inoculation or not increase of fertilizer nitrogen rate raised celery yield. With same level of fertilizer nitrogen rate inoculation of AM fungi “93” significantly increased celery yield. Celery nitrate content increased greatly with higher input of fertilizer nitrogen. Inoculation of AM fungi “93” helped to get same yield aim with lower input of fertilizer nitrogen, therefore it would reduce nitrate content of celery greatly.
Key words
