The sowing experiments of high starch maize variety Zhengdan 18 was done in Zhumadian Henan. Through studying on different breeding time during sowing-time, plant height, material accumulation, main economic properties, output analysis comparation,we found that the preliminarily master sowing-time is May 26-June 20,which is suitable for the south area of Henan Province. The results gave some scientific basis for the fertile culture and popularizing of this variety in a larger scale in the south area of Henan Province.
