Abstract
After joining the WTO, the vegetable industry, as a labor intensive one of agriculture in China, meets with both opportunity and challenge. There are many opportunities for the development of vegetable production such as the increase of foreign investment and vegetable export, the promotion of production techniques and Furthering abundance of vegetable variety resources. Meanwhile, it also faces competitions in theaspect of R & D power, product quality and standard , as well as between agricultural enterprises.
