链霉菌能产生许多具有重要价值的次级代谢产物如农用抗生素、植物生长调节剂等。链霉菌的基因克隆和重组为发展次级代谢产物和开发新型抗生素提供了可能,抗生素生物合成基因簇的鉴定为其生物合成、调控、自身抗性机制的研究提供了巨大的信息。本文重点介绍了抗生素生物合成基因簇的克隆策略。
Streptomyces can produce a lot of valuable secondary metabolites such as agricultural antibiotic, plant growth hormone, and so on. Gene cloning and recombination of Streptomycetes offers a good possibility to improve secondary metabolite production and exploiting new type antibiotics. The identification of gene clusters of natural products has provided enormous information for the research of their biosynthesis, regulation, and self-resistance mechanisms. This paper reviewed the cloning strategies of the biosynthetic gene clusters of antibiotics.
