This article summarizes relevant problems related to effects of CO2 fertilizer on photosynthesis. And it has discussed the recent experimental research development and the application of CO2 fertilizer technology. This paper points out that CO2 fertilizer plays an important role in promoting the photosynthesis, restraining respiration, and reducing transpiration, and improving the percentage of water from the photosynthesis. In the meantime, the experiment shows that the growth and the products of plants are positively affected by the CO2 fertilizer technology. Moreover, the CO2 fertilizer technology can improve the quality of products of the plants and reduce the disease. Because the plants that are applied in experiment are different, some different conclusions were drawn concerning effects of CO2 fertilizer on physiology and physiological chemistry; some other questions deserve to be further discussed.
