In order to evaluate the new glutinous sorghum male sterility lines scientifically and accurately, provide excellent parent materials for quality improvement of glutinous sorghum, three sterile lines and three restorer lines were chosen, 9 hybrid combinations were matched by incomplete diallel crosses method in this study. The qualities about protein, fat, starch, tannic were analyzed by combining ability and genetic effects. The results showed that, in the three new glutinous sorghum male sterility lines, 11476A2 exhibited higher general combining ability in starch and fat. 11486A2 only presented higher general combining ability in protein. 11494A2 showed higher general combining ability in tannic. The order of ratio of additive genetic variance to genotype variance was: protein > starch > tannic > fat. Bying glutinous sorghum breeding techniques target, 11476A2 presented high starch combining ability, and low protein combining ability, so that it may be a good glutinous sorghum parent system.
