Innovation method, an important innovative approach of technology and product, has been successfully used in agricultural machinery engineering and agricultural product processing. In order to explore whether innovation method could be used in veterinary medicine and support its development, TRIZ was introduced and preliminarily applied to veterinary technology in this study. The results showed that innovation method could provide both new thinking and projects for solving technique problems. New projects were conformed to the development trend and could point out the key for technical innovation and promote the progress of technique. It could be concluded that the complete combination of veterinary medicine and innovation method could enhance the independent innovation ability, promote the innovation of technology and products and sustained the development of industry.
