Abstract

The wet bubble caused by Mycogone perniciosa is a serious pest of A. bisporus production in Shanghai. If A. bisporus is infected by Mycogone perniciosa, its yield will reduce seriously. Its primary infection source is the casing. Adopting proper cultivation season, avoiding spawning and casing too early, exposing the casing to the sun in July or August, fumigating the casing with 36%-38% formalin for 48-72 hours 7-10 days before casing, applying chemicals at the time of spraying, digging the infected fruitbody out timely, using resistant strains are good ways in the control of the disease.
