Rapid Detection of the Purity of Maize Varieties by SSR Markers

To rapidly detect the purity of maize cultivars, decrease the detection cost and increase the efficiency and accuracy. Five excellent maize hybrids were detected by the efficient, rapid and economical detection system of maize cultivar purity with SSR markers. The purity of the five maize hybrids ranged from 97% to 100%, with an average of 98.8%. Meanwhile, the purity of the five maize hybrids by salt soluble protein electrophoresis detection ranged from 96.7% to 98.5%, with an average of 97.7%. The correlation analysis to the two detection results showed a non-significant difference. Applying the SSR markers to detect the purity of the cultivars, an accurate outcome would be got quickly

Comparison Studies of Analytical Methods and Criteria for Available Zinc in Paddy Soils

A comparison of analytical methods and criteria for available zinc in fourteen paddy soils taken from Ningbo suburbs, Zhejiang, China was studied and the results show: (1) The available Zn contents were determined by DTPA and 0.1 M HCl methods are 3.64 mg/kg and 2.67 mg/kg, respectively. The former is higher than the later due to DTPA-Zn including chelated Zn by organic matter. But two methods show liner correlation. (2) The available Zn contents by two methods in all hydrogric paddy soils are lower than the degleyed paddy soils due to the low level in oganic matter, clay contents and zinc contents of irrigation water for hydrogric paddy soil. (3) The study results of high DTPA-Zn vs the low Criteria while low 0.1 M HCl-Zn vs the high Criteria lead the same soil has different classes . Therefore, further study is necessary for the analytical methods and criteria for available zinc in paddy soils.

In this work , cinnamon oil is extracted by Supercritical fluid extraction. The yield of volatile respectively 9.3 %. By GC/MS analysis , total volatile chemicals got 36, cinnamaldehyde content for 72.81%, The antibacterial experiments showed that the extracts of cinnamon oil had strong antimicrobial effect on yeast, bacterial and midew, the antimicrobial capability became much stronger than sodium benzoate.

Research of Classification and Mapping in Gannan plateau of Rangeland Based on GIS

Based on the theory of the Comprehensive and Sequential Classification of Rangeland and the methods of GIS, the rangeland classification map which is 1km×1km accuracy have been created by the Spatial interpolation, reclassification and spatial overlay of the annual average accumulative temperature above 0℃ and moisture index of the meteorological stations in Gannan plateau and its ambient area. The results show that there are 12 classifications in Gannan plateau. The two most widely distributed types are Frigid-perhumid rain tundra, alpine meadow, and Cold temperate perhumid taiga forest, and they are 96.0% of the total area.

Abstract In this article, serum and yolks from eggs of 36 egg-layingchickens at pre-and postinoculation were collected, and the yolks were dealt with 16%NaCl, 8%citrate and chloroform. The Haemagglutination Inhibition (HI) test was used to detected the antibodies of serum and yolks to EDS-76 virus.The results showed that the average titresof yolk antibody were in accordant with those of serum. In detection of the HI antibodies to EDS-76 virus, it is possible thatyolksubstitute for serum and is of practical importance.
